James Newcomb, Computer Tech

My name is James Newcomb and I started working on computers in 1994. I started learning DOS 6.22 and Windows 3.1 from my father, a retired systems analyst for a large company in my home town, Battle Creek, MI. We owned a computer store in Battle Creek where we serviced PCs for individuals and small businesses in the surrounding area. I have hundreds of hours of work experience with Microsoft operating systems, with the exception of Server versions. I also have some experience with linux, although I'm only familiar with the OS, and wouldn't consider myself proficient in it's use. I have extensive hands-on experience with building custom computers, upgrading computers and diagnosing hardware and software problems. I have successfully removed many forms of malware (viruses, spyware, adware, etc.) from countless computers.
